I decided to write my reflection on the Financial Institutions Group Project Assignment that was given to us in our Financial Institutions course. I will be basing my reflection on the Critical Thinking and Problem solving, and Teamwork Competency success indicators, I believe success indicator Critical Thinking and Problem solving 1. Gathers and processes information for decision making has played a major role in our project in terms of able to effectively research and use the information. Another great success indicator was Critical Thinking and Problem solving 3. Clarifies problems and develops effective solutions, we faced multiple problems while making our research project both small and major issues identifying them helped solve them much faster. The last success indicator is Teamwork Competency 2. Uses effective interpersonal and group process skills. Lastly I found this assignment to be an Advanced standard performance of level. In this project we were asked to analyze the impact of monetary policies on the stock market performance in Saudi, we were also asked to research how the Federal reserve promotes the economy by increasing money supply, we were required to review at least 3 articles about each analysis. Our biggest challenge was to filter the information we thought was important because we were required to do such extensive research, we faced this by dividing the work and giving detailed summaries of each our finding then deciding as a group.
